City of Lincoln Park Public Notice CDBG 2024 Annual Action Plan 30 Day Public Review


The City of Lincoln Park has prepared a draft Community Development Block Grant 2024 Action Plan.  The document outlines the City’s goals and objectives relative to housing, economic development, community development, and homeless issues with specific attention given to the needs of low/moderate households residing in the community. 
The Annual Action Plan is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that specifies the fiscal year activities and funding levels to be undertaken to meet the housing and community development priorities established in the Consolidated Plan. HUD announced that the City of Lincoln Park will be receiving $774,739 through the CDBG program during FY 2024-2025. Approximately $60,000 in CDBG Revolving Loan funds and $100,000 in Housing Stock Improvement funds will also be programmed through this Action Plan.
Draft Action Plan Summary:  Based on the grant amount, the following activities are proposed for use of the funds. Public Services $102,646 (6 activities) and $672,093 in infrastructure projects.
The 2024-2025 Action Plan will be available for a 30-day public review beginning June 19, 2024. The Plans can be viewed at: Lincoln Park City Hall 1355 Southfield Rd in the City Clerk’s Office; the Lincoln Park Public Library, 1381 Southfield Rd,  and online at
On July 24, 2024, the City will request a release of funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Interested parties are encouraged to submit written comments for consideration of the City. Any comments must be received by 3:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 in the Office of Community Development. All comments received will be considered and no further action will take place prior to the July 24, 2024 release of funds date.
